New build
Turnkey developments, reviewed before you pay the first euro: licence, specifications and guarantees.
A home that does not exist yet is bought on paper. That is why, in new build, the paperwork is everything.
We read it before you do, with Harvey Lawyers.
From reservation to keys
-
01
Reservation
A small amount that holds the home while the development’s paperwork is reviewed and the contract is prepared.
-
02
Contract and stage payments
Whatever you pay during construction has to be guaranteed by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy, as the law requires, and paid into a special account.
-
03
During construction
We keep you posted on progress and check that what is being built is what the specifications you signed say.
-
04
Deed and handover
Once the work is finished and the home can be lived in, the deed is signed, you receive the house and its guarantees start to run.

What protects you once it is yours
A new home comes with the guarantees the law sets, each running for its own term from the handover.
- 1 year
- Finishes Finishing defects that appear after the handover.
- 3 years
- Habitability Whatever affects living in the house: damp, insulation, services.
- 10 years
- Structure Structural damage, covered by an insurance policy the developer takes out.
We hand you the paperwork in order so you know whom to claim from and until when, and Harvey Lawyers stands with you if something is not as signed.
